Huawei MateBook has a general score of 70.7, which is just a bit better than the Samsung ATIV Tab 5's overall score of 69.2. Huawei MateBook's body is noticeably newer, much thinner and lighter than Samsung ATIV Tab 5. The Huawei MateBook counts with a greater hardware performance than Samsung ATIV Tab 5, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei MateBook also has 6 GB more RAM.
The Huawei MateBook and Samsung ATIV Tab 5 have incredibly similar displays, although the Huawei MateBook also has a much greater pixel density, a little larger display and a much better 2160 x 1440 resolution. The Huawei MateBook features a superior memory capacity for games and applications than Samsung ATIV Tab 5, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with 384 GB more internal storage capacity.
The Huawei MateBook features just a bit longer battery duration than Samsung ATIV Tab 5, because it has 4430mAh of battery capacity. Samsung ATIV Tab 5 shoots way better photographs and videos than Huawei MateBook.
Although Huawei MateBook is a better device, it costs a lot more than Samsung ATIV Tab 5, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Samsung ATIV Tab 5. If you are trying to save some money, you can buy Samsung ATIV Tab 5, giving up a few features and specs, but you will get the most out of your savings.
