Comparison review
The Samsung ATIV Tab 5 is a bit better than the Microsoft Surface 3, having a general score of 69.2 against 66.3. Despite being the best tablet in this comparison review, the Samsung ATIV Tab 5 is a way older, somewhat thicker and heavier tablet than the Microsoft Surface 3. The Samsung ATIV Tab 5 features a bit sharper display than Microsoft Surface 3, because although it has a lot lower screen density and a way worse 768 x 1366 resolution, it also counts with a bit bigger screen.
Microsoft Surface 3 has just a bit better processing power than Samsung ATIV Tab 5, because it has 2 GB more RAM and a larger number of cores. Samsung ATIV Tab 5 and Microsoft Surface 3 have really similar storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos, and although the Microsoft Surface 3 has no external memory slot, they both have the same internal storage.
The Samsung ATIV Tab 5 counts with a superior battery duration than Microsoft Surface 3. The Microsoft Surface 3 features a little bit better camera than Samsung ATIV Tab 5. Both of them have the same resolution back-facing camera.
Samsung ATIV Tab 5 is not only the best tablets of the ones we are comparing here, but it's also by far the cheapest one, which makes this tablet an obvious call.
