Comparison review
The Samsung ATIV Tab 5 is slightly better than the Microsoft Surface Go, having a 69.2 score against 66.5. Although it's the best tablet in this comparison, we must highlight that it's also a older, thicker and a lot heavier tablet. Both devices we compare here work with Windows OS (Operating System), but Samsung ATIV Tab 5 has the older 8 version and Microsoft Surface Go has Windows 10.
Microsoft Surface Go has a little faster processor than Samsung ATIV Tab 5, and although they both have a Dual-Core CPU, the Microsoft Surface Go also has more RAM memory. The Samsung ATIV Tab 5 features a bit sharper screen than Microsoft Surface Go, because although it has a lot worse pixel density and a way worse resolution of 768 x 1366, it also counts with a bigger display.
Microsoft Surface Go shoots slightly better pictures and videos than Samsung ATIV Tab 5. Both of them have a back camera with an 8 MP resolution. The Samsung ATIV Tab 5 and the Microsoft Surface Go count with very similar memory capacity for games and applications, and although the Microsoft Surface Go has no external memory slot, they both have exactly the same internal memory capacity.
The Samsung ATIV Tab 5 features a very superior battery lifetime than Microsoft Surface Go.
Despite of being the best tablet between the ones we are comparing, the Samsung ATIV Tab 5 is also very cheap compared to the other ones, which makes it a great choice.
