Comparison review
Samsung ATIV Tab 5 has an overall score of 69.2, which is a bit better than the Microsoft Surface Pro's 63.2 general score. Even when the Samsung ATIV Tab 5 and the Microsoft Surface Pro were released only a couple months apart, the Samsung ATIV Tab 5 is lighter and much thinner. Both of these tablets include Windows OS (operating system), but Samsung ATIV Tab 5 has 8 version while Microsoft Surface Pro has Windows 8 Pro.
Microsoft Surface Pro counts with a bit more powerful CPU than Samsung ATIV Tab 5, and although they both have a Dual-Core CPU, the Microsoft Surface Pro also has an additional graphics processor and a higher amount of RAM. Microsoft Surface Pro has a slightly better looking screen than Samsung ATIV Tab 5, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a better resolution of 1080 x 1920px and much more pixels per inch in the display.
The Samsung ATIV Tab 5 and the Microsoft Surface Pro both have really similar storage for applications and games, and although the Microsoft Surface Pro has no SD memory slot, they both have equal internal memory capacity. Samsung ATIV Tab 5 counts with a greater camera than Microsoft Surface Pro, because it has a camera with a way higher resolution.
