Comparison review
The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 has a general score of 75.1, which is slightly better than Samsung ATIV Tab 5's general score of 69.2. The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 is a noticeably newer and thinner tablet than the Samsung ATIV Tab 5, although it's a bit heavier. Both devices in this comparison review work with Windows OS, but Microsoft Surface Pro 4 has the previous 10 Pro version and Samsung ATIV Tab 5 has Windows 8.
The Samsung ATIV Tab 5 features a much better hardware performance than Microsoft Surface Pro 4, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, it also counts with 2 more CPU cores. The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 features a more vivid display than Samsung ATIV Tab 5, because it has a quite larger display, a lot higher display pixel density and a lot better 1824 x 2736 resolution.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 takes a little bit better pictures and videos than Samsung ATIV Tab 5. Both have a 8 MP resolution back camera. Microsoft Surface Pro 4 has a superior storage to store more apps and games than Samsung ATIV Tab 5, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 1000 GB internal storage.

Although Microsoft Surface Pro 4 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Samsung ATIV Tab 5, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Samsung ATIV Tab 5. If you prefer to save some money, you can get Samsung ATIV Tab 5, and give up a couple features, but you will get the most with your savings.
