Comparison review
The Samsung ATIV Tab 5 is slightly better than Lumia 2520, with a overall score of 69.2 against 68.6. Even being the best device in this review, it must be noted that it's also an older, heavier and somewhat thicker device. Both of these tablets use Windows OS (Operating System), but Samsung ATIV Tab 5 has an older 8 version while Lumia 2520 has Windows RT 8.1 version.
Lumia 2520 features just a little better performance than Samsung ATIV Tab 5, and although they both have the same RAM amount, the Lumia 2520 also has a larger number of faster cores and an additional GPU. Lumia 2520 has a much better screen than Samsung ATIV Tab 5, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a lot more pixels per display inch and a higher 1080 x 1920 resolution.
The Samsung ATIV Tab 5 features a very superior memory for apps and games than Nokia Lumia 2520, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with more internal memory. The Nokia Lumia 2520 has a way better battery life than Samsung ATIV Tab 5, because it has 8000mAh of battery capacity instead of 4080mAh.
Nokia Lumia 2520 takes much better photos and videos than Samsung ATIV Tab 5, although it has a camera in the back with a worse 6.7 MP resolution.
Although Samsung ATIV Tab 5 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Nokia Lumia 2520, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Nokia Lumia 2520. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can buy Nokia Lumia 2520, and give up a few specs and features, but you will get the most out of your budget.
