Samsung ATIV Tab 5 has an overall score of 69.2, which is slightly better than the Samsung Ativ Tab's score of 66.7. Even though Samsung ATIV Tab 5 is a better device than the Samsung Ativ Tab, it must be noted that it's also heavier and somewhat thicker. These tablets come with Windows operating system, but Samsung ATIV Tab 5 has the previous 8 version while Samsung Ativ Tab has Windows RT.
The Samsung ATIV Tab 5 counts with a bit more vivid display than Samsung Ativ Tab, because although it has a bit less pixels per inch in the display, and they both have the same exact resolution of 768 x 1366, the Samsung ATIV Tab 5 also counts with a little larger display. The Samsung ATIV Tab 5 has slightly more memory capacity for apps and games than Samsung Ativ Tab, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 64 GB more internal memory.
