Samsung ATIV Tab 5 has a score of 69.2, which is better than the Galaxy Tab 10.1's 58.1 global score. Even though the Samsung ATIV Tab 5 is newer than the Galaxy Tab 10.1, it's much heavier and thicker. Samsung ATIV Tab 5 has Windows 8 OS, and Galaxy Tab 10.1 has Android 4.0.4 OS. Samsung ATIV Tab 5 counts with a more powerful processor than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1. They have a Dual-Core processor.
The Galaxy Tab 10.1 features a bit more vivid display than Samsung ATIV Tab 5, because although it has a little worse 800 x 1280 resolution and a little smaller screen, it also counts with a little bit more pixels per inch of screen.
