Comparison review
Samsung ATIV Tab 5 has an overall score of 69.2, which is slightly better than the Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch's 65.9 overall score. Despite being the best tablet in our current comparison, Samsung ATIV Tab 5 is an older, a lot heavier and incredibly thicker tablet than Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch. The Samsung ATIV Tab 5 comes with Windows 8 operating system, while Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch comes with Android 4.2 operating system.
Samsung ATIV Tab 5 features just a little better processing power than Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, and although they both have a Dual-Core processing unit, the Samsung ATIV Tab 5 also has 1 GB more RAM. The Samsung ATIV Tab 5 has a little sharper screen than Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, because although it has a little bit inferior pixel number per inch of screen, it also counts with a quite larger display and a slightly higher 768 x 1366 pixels resolution.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch counts with a camera that's just as good as Samsung ATIV Tab 5's camera, although the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch has a way less mega-pixels camera in the back. The Samsung ATIV Tab 5 features much more memory capacity for apps and games than Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with 96 GB more internal memory capacity.
The Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch has a superior battery lifetime than Samsung ATIV Tab 5, because it has a 67% greater battery capacity.
