Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 is a little bit better than the Samsung ATIV Tab 5, getting a 74.6 score against 69.2. Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has Android 4.4 operating system, and Samsung ATIV Tab 5 works with Windows 8 operating system. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 is a newer portable tablet, and it is also extremely lighter and incredibly thinner than the Samsung ATIV Tab 5.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 features a superior processing unit than Samsung ATIV Tab 5, and although they both have the same RAM amount, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 also has an extra graphics processing unit and a greater number of faster cores. Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 counts with a way better looking screen than Samsung ATIV Tab 5, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a much higher resolution of 1600 x 2560 and a lot greater display density.
Samsung ATIV Tab 5 features a much better memory to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 96 GB more internal memory. Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 features a much longer battery performance than Samsung ATIV Tab 5, because it has 8220mAh of battery capacity against 4080mAh.
The Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 captures just a bit better pictures and videos than Samsung ATIV Tab 5. They have a same resolution camera.
Although Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Samsung ATIV Tab 5, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Samsung ATIV Tab 5. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can buy Samsung ATIV Tab 5, letting go a few features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your money.
