Samsung Ativ Tab is better than the Acer Iconia W4, having a overall score of 66.7 against 59.3. Samsung Ativ Tab is a somewhat thinner but much heavier tablet than Acer Iconia W4. These devices use Windows OS (Operating System), but Samsung Ativ Tab has a newer RT version while Acer Iconia W4 has Windows 8.1 version, so it counts with some additional features.
The Acer Iconia W4 features a brighter display than Samsung Ativ Tab, because although it has a bit lower resolution of 800 x 1280 and a much smaller display, it also counts with a just a little higher screen pixel density.
