Comparison review
Samsung Ativ Tab is a little bit better than the Alcatel JOY TAB 2, getting a 66.7 score against 62.5. Although Samsung Ativ Tab is a better tablet than Alcatel JOY TAB 2, it must be noted that it is also a older, a little thicker and notably heavier tablet. The Samsung Ativ Tab comes with Windows RT OS, while Alcatel JOY TAB 2 counts with Android 10 OS.
The Alcatel JOY TAB 2 counts with a little faster processing unit than Samsung Ativ Tab, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics co-processor, it also counts with a greater number of faster cores and a greater amount of RAM. Alcatel JOY TAB 2 features a display that's just as good as Samsung Ativ Tab's display, because although the Alcatel JOY TAB 2 has a much smaller screen and a bit worse resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels, it also counts with a just a bit more pixels per screen inch.
The Samsung Ativ Tab features a bit bigger storage to install applications and games than Alcatel JOY TAB 2, because although it has a SD memory slot that holds 192 GB smaller, it also counts with 32 GB more internal storage. The Alcatel JOY TAB 2 has a superior camera than Samsung Ativ Tab, and although they both have the same resolution back camera, the Alcatel JOY TAB 2 also has a way higher video quality.
The Samsung Ativ Tab counts with a really longer battery performance than Alcatel JOY TAB 2, because it has 8200mAh of battery capacity instead of 4080mAh.
Although Samsung Ativ Tab is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Alcatel JOY TAB 2, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Alcatel JOY TAB 2. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can get the Alcatel JOY TAB 2, giving up a few features and specs, but you will get the most out of your savings.
