Samsung Ativ Tab is better than the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), getting a score of 66.7 against 59.7. Samsung Ativ Tab's design is just a little thinner than the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), although it's a lot heavier and was released many years before. Samsung Ativ Tab comes with Windows RT OS, while Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) counts with Android 9.0 Pie OS.
Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) features a display that's just as good as Samsung Ativ Tab's display, because although the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) has a little worse 800 x 1280px resolution and a much smaller display, it also counts with a bit more pixels per inch of screen. Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) has a greater memory capacity to store more apps and games than Samsung Ativ Tab, because although it has only 32 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a SD card slot that allows a maximum of 1000 GB.

So if you need that extra specs, you can buy Samsung Ativ Tab, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), letting go a couple features and specs.
