The Samsung Ativ Tab has a score of 66.7, which is just a bit better than the Huawei MediaPad M1's overall score of 61.5. The Samsung Ativ Tab comes with Windows RT operating system, and Huawei MediaPad M1 has Android 4.2.2 operating system. Samsung Ativ Tab is an older, extremely heavier and thicker portable tablet than the Huawei MediaPad M1.
The Huawei MediaPad M1 features a brighter screen than Samsung Ativ Tab, because although it has a lot smaller screen and a little bit worse resolution of 1280 x 800, it also counts with a little more pixels per inch in the display. The Samsung Ativ Tab has a lot bigger storage capacity for apps and games than Huawei MediaPad M1, because it has 64 GB internal memory and a SD card slot that allows a maximum of 64 GB.
Samsung Ativ Tab features a bit faster processor than Huawei MediaPad M1, because although it has lesser and slower cores, it also counts with a graphics processor and 1 GB more RAM. The Samsung Ativ Tab has a bit better camera than Huawei MediaPad M1. They have the same video frame rates, the same 1280x720 (HD) video quality and the same resolution back facing camera.
Samsung Ativ Tab counts with a really longer battery performance than Huawei MediaPad M1, because it has a 71% more battery capacity.
Although Samsung Ativ Tab is a better device, it costs a lot more than Huawei MediaPad M1, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Huawei MediaPad M1. If you want to save some money, you can get Huawei MediaPad M1, giving up a few specs and features, but you will get the most with your savings.
