Comparison review
The Samsung Ativ Tab has a global score of 66.7, which is better than the Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0's 60.4 global score. Despite being the best tablet in this comparison, Samsung Ativ Tab's design is noticeably heavier and thicker than the Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0. The Samsung Ativ Tab counts with Windows RT operating system, while Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 has Android 4.3 operating system.
The Samsung Ativ Tab features just a bit better processing power than Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, because although it has 2 lesser processing cores (although faster), and they both have a 400 megahertz graphics processor, the Samsung Ativ Tab also counts with a higher amount of RAM memory. Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 has a much better looking screen than Samsung Ativ Tab, because although it has a bit lower 1280 x 800 resolution and a lot smaller display, it also counts with a little greater pixels quantity per inch in the screen.
The Samsung Ativ Tab counts with a much bigger memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, because it has more internal memory capacity and a SD extension slot that supports a maximum of 64 GB. The Samsung Ativ Tab counts with a way better battery lifetime than Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, because it has 8200mAh of battery capacity.
Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 has just a bit better camera than Samsung Ativ Tab. Both have a 5 MP resolution back facing camera, the same video frame rate and the same video definition.
Although Samsung Ativ Tab is a better device, it is way more expensive than Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can get Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, and give up some specs and features, but you will get the most out of your budget.
