Comparison review
Samsung Ativ Tab has a score of 66.7, which is just a bit better than the LG G Pad 8.3's 65.9 global score. Even being the best in our current comparison, it must be told that it is also older, just a bit thicker and way heavier. The Samsung Ativ Tab comes with Windows RT OS, while LG G Pad 8.3 works with Android 4.4 OS.
The LG G Pad 8.3 features a little bit better performance than Samsung Ativ Tab, because although it has doesn't have a GPU, and they both have a 2 GB RAM memory, the LG G Pad 8.3 also counts with a greater number of faster cores. LG G Pad 8.3 counts with an incredibly better display than Samsung Ativ Tab, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a lot higher pixel density and a lot better 1200 x 1920 resolution.
The LG G Pad 8.3 features a lot better camera than Samsung Ativ Tab, and although they both have a same resolution back-facing camera, the LG G Pad 8.3 also has a way better video definition. Samsung Ativ Tab has a much better storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than LG G Pad 8.3, and although they both have an external memory slot that holds up to 64 GB, the Samsung Ativ Tab also has 64 GB internal storage.
Samsung Ativ Tab counts with a way better battery life than LG G Pad 8.3, because it has an 8200mAh battery size.
Although Samsung Ativ Tab is a better device, it is way more expensive than LG G Pad 8.3, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the LG G Pad 8.3. If you want to save some dollars, you can get the LG G Pad 8.3, giving up a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most with your money.
