Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) is way better than Samsung Ativ Tab, with a global score of 82.4 against 66.7. Both devices we compare here have Windows OS (Operating System), but Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) has older 10 Pro version and Samsung Ativ Tab has Windows RT version. Even though the Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) is a lot heavier than Samsung Ativ Tab, it's just a bit thinner and extremely newer.
The Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) features a much better looking screen than Samsung Ativ Tab, because it has a lot better display pixels density, a larger display and a much higher 2736 x 1824 pixels resolution. The Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) has just a little better hardware performance than Samsung Ativ Tab, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processing unit, and they both have 2 CPU cores, the Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) also counts with a higher amount of RAM.
The Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) features a slightly better camera than Samsung Ativ Tab, because it has a camera in the back with lot more mega-pixels and a lot better video definition. Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) counts with a much bigger storage to store more apps and games than Samsung Ativ Tab, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 1000 GB internal memory.
The Samsung Ativ Tab has a very superior battery lifetime than Microsoft Surface Pro (2017).
Although Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) is a better device, it is way more expensive than Samsung Ativ Tab, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Samsung Ativ Tab. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can buy Samsung Ativ Tab, giving up a few specs and features, but you will get the most out of your budget.
