Comparison review
Samsung Ativ Tab is a little bit better than the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, with a 66.7 score against 66.3. The Samsung Ativ Tab construction has the same thickness than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, but it is a little bit lighter. Samsung Ativ Tab has Windows RT operating system, and Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 counts with Android 4.4 operating system.
Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 has a display that is just as good as the display in Samsung Ativ Tab, and although the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 has a bit lower resolution of 800 x 1280px and a just a little inferior number of pixels per inch in the display, they both have a display of the same size. The Samsung Ativ Tab counts with a bit bigger storage to store more games and applications than Galaxy Note 10.1, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the Samsung Ativ Tab also has a SD memory slot that supports up to 64 GB.
Samsung Ativ Tab features a bit faster CPU than Galaxy Note 10.1, because although it has a lower number of cores (although faster), and they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Samsung Ativ Tab also counts with an extra graphics co-processor. Samsung Ativ Tab counts with a little better battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, because it has 8200mAh of battery capacity instead of 7000mAh.
Samsung Ativ Tab captures much better photographs and videos than Galaxy Note 10.1. They have the same video frame rates, the same resolution back camera and the same (HD) video quality.
Although Samsung Ativ Tab is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Samsung Ativ Tab, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, giving up some specs and features.
