Comparison review
Samsung Ativ Tab has a general score of 66.7, which is much better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1's 58.1 overall score. Samsung Ativ Tab is a newer tablet than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, but it is a bit heavier and a little thicker. Samsung Ativ Tab works with Windows RT operating system, while Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 works with Android 4.0.4 operating system.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 features a bit more vivid display than Samsung Ativ Tab, although it has a just a bit worse quantity of pixels per display inch and a little bit worse 800 x 1280px resolution, they both have a screen with the same size. The Samsung Ativ Tab counts with a much bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Tab 10.1, because it has a slot for an SD memory card that admits a maximum of 64 GB and 32 GB more internal storage capacity.
The Samsung Ativ Tab features a faster CPU than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Ativ Tab also has a GPU. The Samsung Ativ Tab has superior battery duration than Galaxy Tab 10.1, because it has an 8200mAh battery capacity. The Galaxy Tab 10.1 shoots slightly better photographs and videos than Samsung Ativ Tab, because although it has a camera with much less megapixels resolution, it also counts with a much better 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution.
Samsung Ativ Tab costs a lot more money than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, but it's still a good choice, because you can get a lot more for that extra money.
