Comparison review
The Samsung Ativ Tab is a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), with a 66.7 score against 65. Samsung Ativ Tab works with Windows RT operating system, while Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) counts with Android 4.1 operating system. The Samsung Ativ Tab is a a little bit thinner and just a little lighter device than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), although they were released with only 1 months difference.
Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) counts with a bit sharper display than Samsung Ativ Tab, although it has a little worse resolution of 800 x 1280 and a bit lower screen pixel density, they both have a same size display. Samsung Ativ Tab features much more memory to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), because it has a slot for an SD memory card that admits a maximum of 64 GB and 64 GB internal memory.
The Samsung Ativ Tab features just a bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), and although they both have a Dual-Core CPU and a 400 megahertz graphics co-processor, the Samsung Ativ Tab also has 1 GB more RAM memory. The Samsung Ativ Tab takes better photographs and videos than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 1280x720 (HD) video resolution, the Samsung Ativ Tab also has a camera in the back with a much higher 5 mega pixels resolution.
Samsung Ativ Tab has a bit longer battery life than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), because it has 8200mAh of battery capacity against 7000mAh.
Although Samsung Ativ Tab is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T). So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Samsung Ativ Tab, but if you don't you can save some money and get the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), letting go some specifications.
