Samsung Ativ Tab is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), getting a global score of 66.7 against 60.7. The Samsung Ativ Tab body is incredibly heavier but thinner than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), and both of them were released with only 7 months difference. Samsung Ativ Tab counts with Windows RT operating system, while Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) has Android 4.1 operating system.
Samsung Ativ Tab features a faster CPU than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), and although they both have 2 CPU cores, the Samsung Ativ Tab also has a larger amount of RAM and a graphics processor. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) features just a bit better looking display than Samsung Ativ Tab, because although it has a way worse resolution of 600 x 1024 pixels and a lot smaller screen, it also counts with a just a little better pixels count per display inch.
Samsung Ativ Tab has a superior memory for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), because it has a SD memory card expansion slot that allows up to 64 GB and more internal memory.
