Samsung Ativ Tab has a global score of 66.7, which is a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0's 66.5 score. Although the Samsung Ativ Tab and Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 were only released 8 months apart, Samsung Ativ Tab's construction is thinner but much heavier than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0. The Samsung Ativ Tab works with Windows RT OS, while Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 comes with Android 4.4.2 OS.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 features a bit more powerful processor than Samsung Ativ Tab, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, and they both have a Dual-Core processor, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 also counts with a better 450 megahertz graphics processing unit. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 counts with a bit sharper screen than Samsung Ativ Tab, because although it has a way worse 600 x 1024 resolution and a really smaller display, it also counts with a little bit greater number of pixels per inch of screen.
Samsung Ativ Tab takes a little bit better videos and photos than Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, because it has a back camera with way more megapixels. Although Samsung Ativ Tab is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy Tab 3 7.0. If you want to save a few dollars, you can get the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, and give up a few specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
