Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has a general score of 68.7, which is a bit better than the Samsung Ativ Tab's 66.7 score. Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch works with Android 4.2.2 OS, while Samsung Ativ Tab counts with Windows RT OS. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch is a newer tablet, and it's also much lighter and somewhat thinner than Samsung Ativ Tab.
Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has a bit faster processing unit than Samsung Ativ Tab, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, and they both have a Dual-Core processor, the Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch also counts with a much better graphics processor. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch features a slightly better looking screen than Samsung Ativ Tab, because although it has a really smaller display and a quite lower resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels, it also counts with a bit better display density.
The Samsung Ativ Tab counts with a way bigger memory capacity to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, and although they both have a SD memory slot that admits a maximum of 64 GB, the Samsung Ativ Tab also has more internal storage. The Samsung Ativ Tab has a superior battery life than Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because it has 8200mAh of battery capacity.
The Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch captures much clearer videos and photos than Samsung Ativ Tab. Both have a same resolution camera in the back, the same 1280x720 video resolution and the same video frame rate.
Despite of being the best tablet in our comparison, Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch is also a bargain compared to the other ones, which makes buying this tablet an easy decision.
