Samsung Ativ Tab is much better than Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, getting a general score of 66.7 against 57.5. The Samsung Ativ Tab counts with Windows RT OS, and Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids counts with Android 4.1 OS. Samsung Ativ Tab's construction is thinner than Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, although it is noticeably heavier and was released about 12 months before.
The Samsung Ativ Tab counts with a bit better CPU than GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Ativ Tab also has a graphics co-processor and a higher amount of RAM. The GALAXY Tab 3 Kids has a bit better looking screen than Samsung Ativ Tab, because although it has a much smaller display and a way worse resolution of 600 x 1024, it also counts with a quite higher amount of pixels in each inch of display.
The Samsung Ativ Tab has a much greater storage for applications and games than Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, because it has more internal memory and a SD memory slot that allows up to 64 GB. Samsung Ativ Tab captures a bit better photos and videos than GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, because it has a back facing camera with a way higher resolution.
Samsung Ativ Tab features a way better battery performance than GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, because it has an 8200mAh battery size.
Although Samsung Ativ Tab is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the GALAXY Tab 3 Kids. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Samsung Ativ Tab, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, letting go some features and specs.
