Comparison review
Samsung Ativ Tab is just a bit better than the Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE, getting a 66.7 score against 63.5. Despite being the best in this review, the Samsung Ativ Tab design is thicker and incredibly heavier than the Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE. The Samsung Ativ Tab counts with Windows RT OS, and Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE comes with Android 4.0 OS.
Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE counts with a much better display than Samsung Ativ Tab, because although it has a little worse 800 x 1280px resolution and a way smaller screen, it also counts with a better display density. Samsung Ativ Tab has a superior storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE, because it has 64 GB internal storage capacity and a slot for external memory cards that admits a maximum of 64 GB.
Samsung Ativ Tab features a bit more powerful processor than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE, and although they both have a Dual-Core CPU, the Samsung Ativ Tab also has a much better 400 megahertz graphics co-processor and a higher amount of RAM. Samsung Ativ Tab has a slightly better camera than Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE, and although they both have the same video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Samsung Ativ Tab also has a back camera with a lot higher 5 megapixels resolution.
The Samsung Ativ Tab has a way better battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE, because it has an 8200mAh battery size instead of 5100mAh.
Although Samsung Ativ Tab is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE. If you are trying to save some money, you can get Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE, letting go a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
