Samsung Ativ Tab has an overall score of 66.7, which is better than Galaxy Tab A (2016)'s general score of 60.4. Samsung Ativ Tab has Windows RT operating system, and Galaxy Tab A (2016) has Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system. The Samsung Ativ Tab is better than the Galaxy Tab A (2016), we must highlight that it's also incredibly older, extremely heavier and just a little bit thicker.
Galaxy Tab A (2016) features a bit sharper screen than Samsung Ativ Tab, because although it has a really smaller screen and a bit worse resolution of 800 x 1280px, it also counts with a better screen density. The Samsung Ativ Tab has a much better storage to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016), because although it has a SD card slot that supports up to 64 GB against 200 GB, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage.
The Samsung Ativ Tab features a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab A (2016), because although it has lesser cores (although they are faster), it also counts with an extra graphics processing unit and a greater amount of RAM. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016) features a superior camera than Samsung Ativ Tab. They have the same video frame rate, the same video resolution and a 5 MP back-facing camera.
Samsung Ativ Tab features a very superior battery performance than Galaxy Tab A (2016), because it has 8200mAh of battery capacity.
Although Samsung Ativ Tab is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Galaxy Tab A (2016), and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy Tab A (2016). So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Samsung Ativ Tab, but if you don't you can save some money and get the Galaxy Tab A (2016), resigning a couple specs and features.
