The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 is much better than the Samsung Ativ Tab, having a 79 score against 66.7. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 counts with Android 10 OS, while Samsung Ativ Tab has Windows RT OS. Although Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 is thicker than the Samsung Ativ Tab, it's lighter and way newer.
The Galaxy Tab Active 3 features a superior processor than Samsung Ativ Tab, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processor, it also counts with 6 more processing cores and a larger amount of RAM. Galaxy Tab Active 3 counts with a much better looking screen than Samsung Ativ Tab, because although it has a way smaller screen, it also counts with a lot higher resolution of 1200 x 1920px and a much greater amount of pixels per inch in the screen.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 captures way better pictures and videos than Samsung Ativ Tab, because it has a lot higher (4K) video definition and a way better resolution back-facing camera. The Galaxy Tab Active 3 counts with much more memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Ativ Tab, and although they both have equal internal storage, the Galaxy Tab Active 3 also has an external SD slot that allows up to 1 TB.
