Galaxy Tab Active is a little bit better than Samsung Ativ Tab, with a overall score of 67 against 66.7. The Galaxy Tab Active is a notably newer and lighter tablet than the Samsung Ativ Tab, although it is just a bit thicker. The Galaxy Tab Active comes with Android 4.4 OS, and Samsung Ativ Tab works with Windows RT OS.
Samsung Ativ Tab counts with a little faster processing unit than Samsung Galaxy Tab Active, because although it has a worse graphics co-processor running at 400 megahertz and lesser cores (but faster), it also counts with 512 MB more RAM. Galaxy Tab Active features a much better looking screen than Samsung Ativ Tab, because although it has a way smaller screen and a little bit lower 1280 x 800 pixels resolution, it also counts with a quite better pixel density.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active has a slightly better camera than Samsung Ativ Tab, although it has a camera in the back with lot less MP and a worse 1280x720 video definition. The Samsung Ativ Tab counts with a much better storage for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab Active, and although they both have a SD memory slot that allows up to 64 GB, the Samsung Ativ Tab also has 48 GB more internal memory capacity.
