Comparison review
The Samsung ATIV Tab 7 has a score of 64.9, which is a little bit better than the Microsoft Surface Pro's overall score of 63.2. Both devices in this comparison review come with Windows operating system, but Samsung ATIV Tab 7 has the previous 8 version and Microsoft Surface Pro has Windows 8 Pro. Samsung ATIV Tab 7 is a just a little bit lighter and thinner device than Microsoft Surface Pro, even though they were only released 2 months apart.
The Microsoft Surface Pro counts with a much faster CPU than Samsung ATIV Tab 7, and although they both have a 4 GB RAM and a 650 MHz GPU, the Microsoft Surface Pro also has 2 more cpu cores. The Microsoft Surface Pro features a little more vivid display than Samsung ATIV Tab 7, because although it has a little bit smaller display, and they both have exactly the same 1080 x 1920 resolution, the Microsoft Surface Pro also counts with a just a bit better pixel count in each inch in the display.
The Samsung ATIV Tab 7 has a better camera than Microsoft Surface Pro, because it has a lot more mega pixels back-facing camera. The Samsung ATIV Tab 7 has a very superior memory for games and applications than Microsoft Surface Pro, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory.
Microsoft Surface Pro and Samsung ATIV Tab 7 both have extremely similar batteries.
