Comparison review
Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is better than the Samsung ATIV Tab 7, having a general score of 72.2 against 64.9. These devices use Windows OS (operating system), but the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has 8.1 Pro version while Samsung ATIV Tab 7 has Windows 8, giving you a couple nice extra features and performance tweaks. Microsoft Surface Pro 3's construction is newer, way thinner and lighter than the Samsung ATIV Tab 7.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a much powerful processor than Samsung ATIV Tab 7, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics co-processor, it also counts with a greater amount of RAM memory and a higher number of cores. Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a bit better looking display than Samsung ATIV Tab 7, because it has a little more pixels per inch in the screen, a little bigger display and a higher resolution of 1440 x 2160px.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 features a much bigger memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung ATIV Tab 7, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with 512 GB internal memory. Microsoft Surface Pro 3 and Samsung ATIV Tab 7 feature very similar cameras, both of them have a same resolution back camera.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 and Samsung ATIV Tab 7 both have really similar battery performance.
