Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy Book 12-inch has a general score of 80, which is much better than the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9's 67.9 general score. Samsung Galaxy Book 12-inch's construction is a lot newer and just a little bit thinner than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9's, although it's much heavier. The Samsung Galaxy Book 12-inch comes with Windows 10 operating system, while Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 comes with Android 4.4 operating system.

The Samsung Galaxy Book 12-inch has a bit better processing power than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, because although it has a lower number of cores (but faster), it also counts with a higher amount of RAM. Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 counts with a much more vibrant screen than Samsung Galaxy Book 12-inch, because although it has a way smaller display, it also counts with a little higher 1600 x 2560 resolution and way more pixels per display inch.

Galaxy Book 12-inch captures much better pictures and videos than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 video definition and the same video frame rates, the Galaxy Book 12-inch also has a back camera with way more mega pixels and a larger aperture for better photography and videos in low light environments.

The Galaxy Book 12-inch features a lot bigger memory capacity to store more apps and games than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, because it has more internal memory capacity and a slot for an SD memory card that allows a maximum of 256 GB. Samsung Galaxy Book 12-inch has a much better battery life than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9.
