The Galaxy Book 12-inch has a global score of 80, which is much better than Google Nexus 7 (2013)'s 70.8 general score. Galaxy Book 12-inch counts with Windows 10 operating system, and Google Nexus 7 (2013) comes with Android 5.0 operating system. Galaxy Book 12-inch's construction is much newer and thinner, but heavier than Google Nexus 7 (2013).

The Galaxy Book 12-inch features a little faster CPU than Google Nexus 7 (2013), because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics co-processor and a lower number of cores , it also counts with more RAM memory. The Google Nexus 7 (2013) counts with a much better display than Galaxy Book 12-inch, because although it has a bit worse resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels and a way smaller display, it also counts with a higher screen density.

Samsung Galaxy Book 12-inch counts with a much bigger memory for games and applications than Google Nexus 7 (2013), because it has 256 GB internal memory and a SD card slot that allows up to 256 GB.
