Galaxy Book 12-inch has a general score of 80, which is slightly better than Microsoft Surface Pro 4's 75.1 global score. Both tablets we are comparing have Windows OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Book 12-inch has older 10 version while Microsoft Surface Pro 4 has Windows 10 Pro. The Galaxy Book 12-inch is a newer tablet, and it is also thinner and a little bit lighter than Microsoft Surface Pro 4.

The Samsung Galaxy Book 12-inch has a much better processing power than Microsoft Surface Pro 4, because although it has lesser RAM, it also counts with more CPU cores. The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 has a better looking screen than Galaxy Book 12-inch, because it has a little bigger screen, a bit better display pixel density and a better resolution of 1824 x 2736.

Microsoft Surface Pro 4 features a much better memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Book 12-inch, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 1000 GB internal memory. Galaxy Book 12-inch counts with a way better camera than Microsoft Surface Pro 4, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same video resolution, the Galaxy Book 12-inch also has a much higher resolution back facing camera.
