The GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) is a lot better than the Amazon Fire HD 10 Plus (2021), getting a overall score of 77.4 against 62.8. Both tablets in this review use Android OS (operating system), but the GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) has the previous 4.4.2 version while Amazon Fire HD 10 Plus (2021) has Android 9.0 Pie version. Although the GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) is notably older and heavier than Amazon Fire HD 10 Plus (2021), it's body is still somewhat thinner.

Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) features a bit faster CPU than Amazon Fire HD 10 Plus (2021), because although it has an inferior number of cores and 1 GB lesser RAM, it also counts with an extra GPU. The GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) counts with a much more vibrant display than Amazon Fire HD 10 Plus (2021), and although they both have a same size screen, the GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) also has a higher pixels number in each display inch and a better resolution of 1600 x 2560 pixels.
