Comparison review

The GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) is way better than the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), getting a 77.4 score against 59.7. Both devices in our current comparison use Android operating system, but GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) has older 4.4.2 version and Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) has Android 9.0 Pie version. GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition)'s design is thinner than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), but it's a lot heavier and was released many years before.

GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) has a bit more powerful processor than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), and although they both have the same number of cores and a 3 GB RAM memory, the GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) also has a graphics co-processor. Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) has a much sharper display than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), because it has a much greater screen density, a bigger display and a way better resolution of 1600 x 2560px.

Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) takes much better photos and videos than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), because it has a much higher 1920x1080 video definition and a much more megapixels back camera. Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) has a quite bigger memory capacity to store more apps and games than GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition), because although it has only 32 GB internal memory, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that allows up to 1000 GB.

GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) features a superior battery performance than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020).

Although Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020). So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition), else you can save a couple dollars and get the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), resigning a couple specs and features.
