Comparison review

Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) has a global score of 77.4, which is better than the LG G Pad 8.3's 65.9 score. These tablets come with Android OS, but the Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) has a newer 4.4.2 version while LG G Pad 8.3 has Android 4.4 version, so it offers a couple additional features. The Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) design is incredibly heavier but just a little thinner than LG G Pad 8.3, and both were released only a few months apart.

The GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) features a bit sharper display than LG G Pad 8.3, because it has a higher resolution of 1600 x 2560px, a little bit more pixels per inch in the screen and a bigger display. The GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) counts with a little bit better hardware performance than LG G Pad 8.3, and although they both have the same number of cores, the GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) also has a GPU and more RAM.

The LG G Pad 8.3 has a much better camera than GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition), although it has a lot less mega-pixels resolution back facing camera and a lower video definition. Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) has a superior memory for games and applications than LG G Pad 8.3, and although they both have a slot for SD memory cards that admits a maximum of 64 GB, the Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) also has 64 GB internal memory capacity.

The GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) counts with a much longer battery performance than LG G Pad 8.3, because it has 8220mAh of battery capacity.

Although Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) is a better device, it is way more expensive than LG G Pad 8.3, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the LG G Pad 8.3. So if you want that extra features, you can buy Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition), else you can save a couple dollars and buy the LG G Pad 8.3, letting go some specifications.
