Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) is a lot better than the OSCAL Spider 8, getting a overall score of 77.4 against 64.4. The Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) construction is incredibly lighter and a lot thinner than OSCAL Spider 8, despite of the fact that it was released many years before. Both of these devices use Android operating system, but the Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) has a newer 4.4.2 version while OSCAL Spider 8 has Android 13 version, so it provides you a couple nice extra features and performance tweaks.

The GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) features a better screen than OSCAL Spider 8, and although they both have a display of the same size, the GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) also has a greater number of pixels per inch in the display and a better resolution of 1600 x 2560 pixels. The GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) features a bit superior processing unit than OSCAL Spider 8, because although it has 4 less cpu cores and a smaller amount of RAM memory, it also counts with an additional graphics processor.

OSCAL Spider 8 has much more memory capacity for apps and games than GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition), because it has a SD memory card expansion slot that admits a maximum of 1 TB and 128 GB internal storage. OSCAL Spider 8 features a bit better camera than Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition), because it has a back camera with much more megapixels.

The OSCAL Spider 8 has a much better battery duration than Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition), because it has a 13000mAh battery size instead of 8220mAh.
