GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) is slightly better than the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite, with a 77.4 score against 74.2. Both of these tablets include Android operating system, but GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) has newer 4.4.2 version and Galaxy Tab A7 Lite has Android 11 version, so it provides some nice extra features. GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition)'s design has the same thickness than the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite, but it's heavier.

Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) and Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite have really similar processing units, because although the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite has doesn't have an extra graphics processing unit, and they both have 3 GB of RAM, it also counts with 4 more processing cores. The GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) features an incredibly better screen than Galaxy Tab A7 Lite, because it has a much higher pixel count per display inch, a way better resolution of 1600 x 2560 pixels and a larger screen.

The Galaxy Tab A7 Lite has more memory capacity for games and applications than Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition), because although it has 0 less internal memory capacity, it also counts with a SD card slot that allows a maximum of 1 TB. GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) counts with a much better battery life than Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite, because it has 8220mAh of battery capacity instead of 5100mAh.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite features a much better camera than Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition). Both of them have a same resolution back camera, the same video frame rates and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution.

Although GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite, letting go a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most with your budget.
