Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) has a global score of 77.4, which is a little bit better than the Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact's score of 71.3. Although the Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) is a better portable tablet than the Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact, it must be noted that it is also an older, somewhat thicker and a lot heavier portable tablet. These tablets include Android operating system, but the Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) has a more recent 4.4.2 version and Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact has Android 4.4 version, so it counts with a lot of extra features.

The Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact features a little better performance than GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition).
