Comparison review

Galaxy Note 10.1 is much better than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), with a score of 66.3 against 58.6. Galaxy Note 10.1 is a noticeably older and incredibly heavier tablet than the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), but Samsung could make it a little bit thinner anyway. These tablets have Android OS, but the Galaxy Note 10.1 has the previous 4.4 version while Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) has Android 9.0 Pie.

The Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) has a bit superior CPU than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1. Both have a Quad-Core processing unit and 2 GB of RAM. The Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) and Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 have extremely similar screens, because although the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) has a lot smaller display, and they both have the same resolution of 800 x 1280, it also counts with more pixels per inch of screen.

The Galaxy Note 10.1 captures clearer pictures and videos than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), and although they both have the same video definition and the same video frame rates, the Galaxy Note 10.1 also has a much higher resolution back facing camera. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can buy the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), and give up a few features and specs, but you'll get the most with your savings.
