The Apple iPad Air (2020) has an overall score of 71.7, which is a little bit better than Galaxy Note 10.1's 66.3 global score. The Apple iPad Air (2020) comes with iPadOS 14.x operating system, while Galaxy Note 10.1 counts with Android 4.4 operating system. Apple iPad Air (2020)'s construction is way newer, extremely lighter and notably thinner than the Galaxy Note 10.1.
The iPad Air (2020) has a sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, because it has a much better pixels count per inch in the display, a bit bigger screen and a lot better 1640 x 2360 resolution. So if you need that extra features, you can buy iPad Air (2020), else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, letting go some features and specs.
