Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is a bit better than Asus MeMO Pad 8, getting a general score of 66.3 against 61.2. These tablets include the same Android 4.4 operating system, so both of them should give you identical operating system features. Despite being the best in this review, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is a notably older, incredibly heavier and thicker device than Asus MeMO Pad 8.

The Asus MeMO Pad 8 has a little faster processor than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1. They have a 2 GB RAM memory and 4 cores. The Asus MeMO Pad 8 has a more vivid screen than Galaxy Note 10.1, because although it has a way smaller display, it also counts with a way better 1920 x 1200 resolution and way more pixels per inch of display.

The Asus MeMO Pad 8 counts with a superior camera than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1. Both have the same video frame rates, a same resolution camera in the back and the same 1280x720 (HD) video quality. The Galaxy Note 10.1 has a quite bigger memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Asus MeMO Pad 8, because although it has a slot for external memory cards that allows up to 32 GB against 64 GB, it also counts with more internal storage capacity.

Galaxy Note 10.1 counts with a very superior battery performance than Asus MeMO Pad 8.

Although Galaxy Note 10.1 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Asus MeMO Pad 8, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Asus MeMO Pad 8. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can buy Asus MeMO Pad 8, and give up a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most with your money.
