Google Nexus 9 is much better than Galaxy Note 10.1, with a 74.5 score against 66.3. Both devices in this review include Android OS (Operating System), but the Google Nexus 9 has a more recent 5.0 version and Galaxy Note 10.1 has Android 4.4. Google Nexus 9 is a notably newer tablet, and it is also somewhat thinner and noticeably lighter than Galaxy Note 10.1.
The Google Nexus 9 has a superior performance than Galaxy Note 10.1, because although it has 2 less CPU cores , and they both have a 2 GB RAM, the Google Nexus 9 also counts with a 64-bits CPU. The Google Nexus 9 features a much more vibrant screen than Galaxy Note 10.1, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a way higher resolution of 2048 x 1536 and way more pixels per inch of display.
The Google Nexus 9 captures much clearer videos and photos than Galaxy Note 10.1, because it has a much better 1920x1080 video resolution and a lot more mega-pixels back facing camera. Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 features a lot bigger memory to install games and applications than Google Nexus 9, because it has more internal memory capacity and an external memory card slot that holds up to 32 GB.
The Galaxy Note 10.1 features a little longer battery duration than Google Nexus 9, because it has 7000mAh of battery capacity instead of 6700mAh.
