Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 has a global score of 66.3, which is a little bit better than Huawei MediaPad M1's 61.5 global score. Both of these tablets use Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 has newer 4.4 version while Huawei MediaPad M1 has Android 4.2.2 version, so it provides a lot of extra features and performance tweaks. Although it's the best tablet in this comparison, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 construction is older, thicker and heavier than Huawei MediaPad M1.
The Huawei MediaPad M1 has a better looking display than Galaxy Note 10.1, because although it has a much smaller screen, and they both have an equal 1280 x 800 pixels resolution, the Huawei MediaPad M1 also counts with more pixels per inch in the screen. The Galaxy Note 10.1 counts with a superior memory for games and applications than Huawei MediaPad M1, and although they both have a slot for an external memory card that admits a maximum of 32 GB, the Galaxy Note 10.1 also has 56 GB more internal storage.
The Huawei MediaPad M1 features just a little better hardware performance than Galaxy Note 10.1, although it has less RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores. Huawei MediaPad M1 shoots just a bit better photographs and videos than Galaxy Note 10.1, and although they both have the same resolution camera in the back, the Huawei MediaPad M1 also has a much higher video resolution.
Galaxy Note 10.1 features a really longer battery performance than Huawei MediaPad M1, because it has a 46% larger battery capacity.
Although Galaxy Note 10.1 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Huawei MediaPad M1, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Huawei MediaPad M1. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can buy Huawei MediaPad M1, letting go a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
