Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is slightly better than the Microsoft Surface 2, having a overall score of 66.3 against 63.4. Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 works with Android 4.4 OS, and Microsoft Surface 2 has Windows RT 8.1 OS. Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1's body has the same thickness than Microsoft Surface 2, but it is somewhat lighter.

The Microsoft Surface 2 features a little sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, because it has a lot higher resolution of 1080 x 1920, a higher quantity of pixels per inch of screen and a bit bigger display. The Galaxy Note 10.1 has a quite bigger memory capacity for apps and games than Microsoft Surface 2. Both have exactly the same 64 GB internal memory capacity.

The Microsoft Surface 2 counts with a little better hardware performance than Galaxy Note 10.1. Both have a Quad-Core CPU and 2 GB of RAM memory. The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 counts with a way better battery lifetime than Microsoft Surface 2. Microsoft Surface 2 counts with a better camera than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, and although they both have a same resolution back-facing camera, the Microsoft Surface 2 also has a much higher 1920x1080 video definition.

Despite of being the best tablet between the ones we are comparing, Galaxy Note 10.1 is also a lot cheaper.
