Microsoft Surface 3 has an overall score of 66.3, which is just a bit better than the Galaxy Note 10.1's overall score of 66.3. The Microsoft Surface 3 body is much newer and just a bit thinner, but a little bit heavier than Galaxy Note 10.1. Microsoft Surface 3 features a little bit better looking screen than Galaxy Note 10.1, because it has a way higher 1920 x 1280 resolution, a higher pixels amount per inch in the screen and a little bigger display.

The Microsoft Surface 3 features a better memory capacity for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 64 GB more internal memory capacity. Microsoft Surface 3 features a bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Microsoft Surface 3 also has a higher amount of RAM.
