Comparison review
The Samsung Ativ Tab is a little bit better than Galaxy Note 10.1, getting a 66.7 score against 66.3. The Samsung Ativ Tab is a a little bit lighter tablet than the Galaxy Note 10.1, but they are equally thin. Samsung Ativ Tab comes with Windows RT operating system, while Galaxy Note 10.1 works with Android 4.4 operating system.
Samsung Ativ Tab counts with just a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy Note 10.1, because although it has 2 lesser processing cores , and they both have 2 GB of RAM, the Samsung Ativ Tab also counts with an additional graphics processing unit. Samsung Ativ Tab has a screen that is just as good as the screen in Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, and although the Samsung Ativ Tab has a slightly higher resolution of 768 x 1366 pixels and a just a little greater pixels count per inch in the display, they both have a same size display.
The Samsung Ativ Tab counts with a little bit better memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Note 10.1, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the Samsung Ativ Tab also has a slot for an external memory card that supports a maximum of 64 GB. Samsung Ativ Tab features a little longer battery duration than Galaxy Note 10.1, because it has a 17% more battery capacity.
Samsung Ativ Tab shoots better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1. They have the same video frame rates, the same (HD) video resolution and a same resolution back-facing camera.
Although Samsung Ativ Tab is a better device, it costs a lot more than Galaxy Note 10.1, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Galaxy Note 10.1. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Samsung Ativ Tab, else you can save a couple dollars and get the Galaxy Note 10.1, letting go some features and specifications.
