The Galaxy Note 10.1 is just a bit better than the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), getting a general score of 66.3 against 60.7. Both tablets in this comparison review use Android OS, but the Galaxy Note 10.1 has 4.4 version while Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) has Android 4.1 version. Galaxy Note 10.1's construction is incredibly heavier but somewhat thinner than the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), and they were only released 0 months apart.

Galaxy Note 10.1 counts with a bit superior processor than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), because it has a higher number of cores and 1 GB more RAM. Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) has a bit more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, because although it has a lot lower resolution of 600 x 1024 pixels and a lot smaller screen, it also counts with a little greater display density.

Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) shoots better photos and videos than Galaxy Note 10.1, although it has a worse 1280x720 (HD) video resolution and a much less mega pixels back facing camera. Galaxy Note 10.1 has a much bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), and although they both have a slot for SD memory cards that supports up to 32 GB, the Galaxy Note 10.1 also has 64 GB internal memory capacity.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 has a superior battery lifetime than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), because it has a 7000mAh battery size.

Although Galaxy Note 10.1 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0). If you are trying to save some money, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), giving up a few specs and features, but you'll get the most with your money.
