Comparison review
Galaxy Note 10.1 has a global score of 66.3, which is a little bit better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7's 60.5 overall score. Despite being the best in this comparison, the Galaxy Note 10.1 construction is incredibly older, heavier and somewhat thicker than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7. These devices have Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Note 10.1 has the previous 4.4 version and Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 has Android 7.1 Nougat version.
Galaxy Note 10.1 counts with a little faster processor than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7, and although they both have 4 CPU cores, the Galaxy Note 10.1 also has 512 MB more RAM memory. Galaxy Note 10.1 has a much better display than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because it has a bit more pixels per inch of screen, a slightly higher 800 x 1280px resolution and a bit larger screen.
Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 features a superior camera than Galaxy Note 10.1. Both have the same 1280x720 (HD) video resolution, the same video frame rates and a same resolution camera in the back. Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 counts with a way bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because although it has a slot for SD memory cards that admits a maximum of 32 GB against 128 GB, it also counts with 48 GB more internal storage capacity.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 has improved battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because it has a 17% greater battery capacity.
Although Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7, resigning a couple specs and features.
