Comparison review
Galaxy Tab Active is a little bit better than Galaxy Note 10.1, having a 67 score against 66.3. Although Galaxy Tab Active is just a little thicker than the Galaxy Note 10.1, it's lighter and extremely newer. Both tablets in this comparison include the same Android 4.4 OS (operating system). The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active counts with a bit superior processing unit than Galaxy Note 10.1, because although it has 512 MB lesser RAM, and they both have 4 CPU cores, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active also counts with an extra graphics processing unit.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Active has a much better display than Galaxy Note 10.1, because although it has a really smaller screen, and they both have the same 1280 x 800 pixels resolution, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active also counts with a greater quantity of pixels per inch in the screen. Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 has a much greater memory for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab Active, because although it has a SD memory slot that admits up to 32 GB against 64 GB, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory capacity.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 has a much longer battery life than Galaxy Tab Active, because it has 7000mAh of battery capacity. The Galaxy Tab Active takes better photos and videos than Galaxy Note 10.1, although it has a much lower 3.1 MP resolution back camera and a worse (HD) video resolution.
Although Galaxy Tab Active is a better device, it costs more than Galaxy Note 10.1, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Galaxy Note 10.1. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Galaxy Tab Active, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Galaxy Note 10.1, resigning some features and specifications.
